Can you use an LDAP to authenticate to a SharePoint Server? I don't need the username sign in method but an authentication where we use a certificate to authenticate users to a forum. The users will have a profile in SharePoint but do not have to sign in for access. Can someone please give me direction if this can be done? As of now, it is a showstopper for us to purchase the full MS SharePoint and Search Server software. Thanks, Michele
